They just started to here and I thought it was a great idea. They offer rescue breathing and CPR and how to look for signs of stomach distention. It’s only a 4 hour class. I think it’s important for all pet owners to know. Do they offer it where you live?

i am taking this test today for a job i am working over the summer. The only problem is that I couldnt get into the 2-3 hour class, but the person said i could still take the test and see if i pass. I have the book manuel that they give out at the class, my friend lended it to me.

does anyone know how i should prepare for this/has taken the test and can tell me how it is set up? will i be ok if i just read the manual?

It read the temp at Fahrenheit but now it switched to celcius. Did anyone have this problem and how can i change it back…thanks

I have a project due for my First Aid / CPR class and need your help. Here is the assignment;

Research events or times when the Red Cross or someone using
Red Cross techniques have assisted someone in an emergency
situation. Include the Date, location, situation,
and outcome of said event. Write a brief 1 page
write-up of the event. Last paragraph should be a summary of
how you felt about the incident. Would you have
acted in the same manner, or any different? What
obstacles might have been in the way, like checking for
safety, was 911 called? Give me as much detail as
possible pertaining to what happened and the outcome

I’m interested in taking the pet first aid class that it offered by the Red Cross. I’m curious to know if it is worth it or if is just like a how to wrap your pet in a towel before you rush him off to the vet kinda thing. I don’t know a ton about pet first aid, but I also don’t want to spend and 4 hours for nothing.
