I’m in my junior year in high school, my whole life i wanted to work with people, helping them with their poverty and health issues. I want to some how make a difference. As of now i just finished my SATS and got my scores back i got 2280. This coming summer i plan on sending an application to Columbia University. My goal is to get a masters in Public health, later volunteer for the peace corps, and then get a career for the United States department of health. Any ideas?

I am not sure about a degree to pursue eg pre-med,public health,medical technology.etc… and i am planning on going to med school…please help!! il apreciate any advice. thanks in advance.

I’m doing a paper in favor of bioplastics. I’m wondering what are the cons of using plastics, in regard to public health.
Does burning them in landfill release volitile chemicals? Which ones? Are there material within the plastic which will leech out?

Does public health care really work in Canada? Does it really work in Sweden? Why will it or will it not work in the US.

In my opinion Public Health only works in countries where the citizens really take care of themselves, and the system isn’t loaded down where people suffer from self inflicted problems, cause by smoking or poor diet.
I do believe I asked "WHY" is doesn’t work. Not whether it works or not. I agree that Public HC doesn’t work in Canada.
